Domenica 4 dicembre la comunità parrocchiale, riunita in devota preghiera, ha dato il saluto di benvenuto e accolto con gioia don Colbert, sacerdote del Benin, che ha presieduto la celebrazione Eucaristica delle ore 10.00 nella chiesa “Sacro Cuore di Gesù”.
Don Colbert che, insieme con me, si dedicherà con entusiasmo all’annuncio del Vangelo, è un vero dono di Dio per la nostra comunità, chiamata ora ad accogliere con gratitudine la Parola annunciata.
In questo periodo in cui la chiesa Madre è chiusa per lavori, don Colbert celebrerà tutti i giorni la Santa Messa nella sala “Otto Apel”, messa a disposizione dal sindaco Francesco Tripicchio, al quale va il mio ringraziamento.
Santa Messa feriale ore 16.00; santa Messa festiva ore 11.00.
La sala “Otto Apel”, utilissima in questo momento, non ha tuttavia posti sufficienti per accogliere tutti i fedeli nei giorni festivi e credo sia doveroso continuare ad essere prudenti, evitando rischiosi affollamenti.
Faccio appello, perciò, alla sensibilità dei fedeli che possono agevolmente muoversi con mezzi propri, perché nei giorni festivi partecipino alla Santa Messa nella chiesa della marina (ore 10.00 e ore 17.00) per dare la possibilità di partecipare alla Santa Messa delle ore 11.00, nel centro storico, alle persone anziane o veramente impossibilitate a raggiungere la marina.
