Come molti già sanno, la Chiesa Madre di Acquappesa è chiusa al culto dei fedeli per lavori di restauro. I tempi saranno lunghi, ma poi potremo ammirare un interno sicuramente più accogliente e completamente rinnovato nei colori.
Nel centro storico non abbiamo un luogo spazioso e idoneo per la celebrazione della Santa Messa, soprattutto nei giorni festivi, quando c’è un discreto afflusso di fedeli.
Certamente ci saranno inevitabili disagi, soprattutto per le persone anziane, ma siamo costretti in questo periodo, per garantire la sicurezza e proteggere la salute dei più fragili, a concentrare le celebrazioni liturgiche nella chiesa della marina.
Solo in casi eccezionali, come il primo venerdì del mese, celebreremo la Santa Messa nella casa canonica del centro storico.
Chiedo comprensione e pazienza e invito, soprattutto coloro che possono spostarsi agevolmente, a partecipare ugualmente alla Santa Messa festiva, anche a costo di qualche piccolo sacrificio.
Il Signore Gesù apprezzerà e saprà ricompensare chi lo cerca nonostante le difficoltà, superando la tentazione di disertare l’appuntamento settimanale con Lui e con la comunità.
Questi gli orari delle Sante Messe nella frazione marina:
• Domenica ore 10.00 e ore 17.00
• Giorni feriali ore 18.00
Pe agevolare la partecipazione alla Santa Messa festiva degli anziani o di altri che non dispongono di mezzi propri, domenica alle ore 16.30, sulla strada accanto alla casa canonica del centro storico, ci saranno due macchine a disposizione per consentire, a chi lo desidera, di raggiungere la chiesa della marina. Naturalmente, a fine Messa, sarà assicurato anche il rientro nelle proprie case.
Venerdì 7 ottobre, primo del mese, alle ore 17.00 la Santa Messa sarà celebrata anche nella canonica del centro storico.
