Venerdì 24 giugno la chiesa celebra la solennità del Sacro Cuore di Gesù.
La nostra comunità parrocchiale, riunita in preghiera, si prepara con particolare devozione a celebrare questa festa, nella chiesa della frazione marina, dedicata al Sacro Cuore di Gesù.

Venerdì 24 giugno: Santa Messa della Solennità del Sacro Cuore di Gesù ore 18.00
BREVI NOTIZIE SULLA DEVOZIONE AL CUORE DI GESU’
La devozione al Cuore di Gesù, si diffonde in tutto il mondo in seguito alle numerose apparizioni che Santa Margherita Maria Alacoque (1647-1690) ha avuto nel convento di Paray-le-Monial (Francia).
Nei momenti di preghiera Margherita aveva visioni nelle quali Gesù le mostrava il suo Cuore ferito, coronato di spine, infiammato di amore per l’umanità.
Un giorno, nel rapimento di una visione Gesù le disse: “Ecco quel cuore che ha tanto amato gli uomini e dai quali non riceve che ingratitudini e disprezzo…”.
Nonostante la cattiveria degli uomini Gesù vuole che tutti siano salvi e felici eternamente dopo l’esperienza terrena. E l’uomo, soprattutto chi ha fede, non può sfuggire alla domanda sul suo destino dopo la morte.
“Infatti, quale vantaggio avrà un uomo se guadagnerà il mondo intero, ma perderà la propria vita?” (Mt 16, 26).
L’interrogativo del Vangelo, rivolto all’uomo che si agita ed è concentrato affannosamente nella ricerca del denaro del potere e di tutto ciò che inesorabilmente e velocemente passa, ci invita a riflettere su ciò che conta davvero nella nostra vita, cioè la salvezza dell’anima.
Naturalmente bisogna vivere bene per sperare di morire bene.
Nelle rivelazioni fatte a Santa Margherita Gesù apre il cuore alla speranza e promette la salvezza eterna a chiunque, con le dovute disposizioni, si accosterà alla Santa Comunione il primo venerdì del mese per nove mesi consecutivi.
Nella “GRANDE PROMESSA” (1673) assicura:
“Io ti prometto, nell’eccesso della misericordia del mio Cuore, che il mio amore onnipotente concederà a tutti quelli che riceveranno la Comunione il primo venerdì del mese, per nove mesi consecutivi, la grazia della penitenza finale. Essi non moriranno in mia disgrazia, né senza ricevere i Sacramenti, e il mio Cuore sarà loro rifugio sicuro in quell’ultima ora”.
