FESTA SANTA MARIA DEGLI ANGELI 2 AGOSTO 2022: LA STATUA DELLA MADONNA SU AUTOVETTURA PASSERA’ PER LE VIE DELLA MARINA
Martedì 2 agosto, festa della Madonna degli Angeli, venerata nella chiesa di Acquappesa marina, saranno celebrate tre Sante Messe: ore 7.00 – 8.30 – 19.00Come già scritto nel precedente post, a causa della pandemia che ancora corre velocemente, la parrocchia non ha organizzato festeggiamenti esterni e ha invitato i fedeli a riscoprire il vero senso di questa festa, che ci offre l’opportunità di accostarci alla Misericordia di Dio attraverso il sacramento della confessione e di lucrare l’indulgenza plenaria del “perdono d’Assisi”.
Per evitare pericolosi assembramenti non ci sarà la tradizionale processione con la presenza dei fedeli, ma la statua della Madonna posta su autovettura, con la sola presenza del parroco, percorrerà ugualmente l’intero territorio della frazione marina*. È un modo per far benedire la nostra comunità, dando la possibilità agli ammalati di salutare la Madonna. I fedeli potranno attendere il passaggio della statua davanti alle loro case.
· *Itinerario: partenza dalla chiesa della marina alle ore 18.00 – lungomare lato sud – breve sosta presso le case popolari del villaggio Intavolata – via sciabiche – via colombo fino al ponte della ferrovia lato nord – lungomare fino all’arrivo nella chiesa della marina
· Celebrazione della Santa Messa alle ore 19.00 sulle scale della chiesa
INDULGENZA DELLA PORZIUNCOLA
nei giorni 1 – 2 agosto è possibile lucrare l’indulgenza del “perdono di Assisi” (o della Porziuncola) in qualsiasi chiesa parrocchiale
INDULGENZA PLENARIA DELLA PORZIUNCOLA
In una notte di luglio dell’anno 1216 San Francesco D’Assisi, mentre era in preghiera nella chiesa di Santa Maria degli Angeli, ebbe una visione di Gesù e della Madonna circondati da angeli. Gli fu chiesto quale grazia desiderasse, avendo egli tanto pregato per i peccatori. Francesco rispose: “Santissimo Padre, benché io sia misero e peccatore, ti prego che a tutti quanti, pentiti e confessati, verranno a visitare questa chiesa, conceda ampio e generoso perdono, con una completa remissione di tutte le colpe”.
“Quello che tu chiedi, o frate Francesco, è grande – gli disse il Signore -… Accolgo la tua preghiera, ma a patto che tu domandi al mio vicario in terra, da parte mia, questa indulgenza”.
Francesco si presentò subito al Pontefice Onorio III e con candore gli raccontò la visione avuta. Il Papa lo ascoltò con attenzione e dopo qualche difficoltà dette la sua approvazione e concesse un’indulgenza che “libera dalla colpa e dalle pene in cielo ed in terra, dal giorno del battesimo all’entrata in (questa) chiesa”.
Qualche giorno più tardi, al popolo convenuto alla Porziuncola, Francesco disse tra le lacrime: “Fratelli miei, voglio mandarvi tutti in Paradiso!”
CONDIZIONI PER OTTENERE L’INDULGENZA PLENARIA
Tale indulgenza è lucrabile, per sè o per le anime del Purgatorio, da tutti i fedeli, per una sola volta al giorno, per tutto l’anno in quel santo luogo (la Porziuncola) e, per una volta sola, dal mezzogiorno del primo agosto alla mezzanotte del giorno seguente (2 agosto) in qualsiasi chiesa francescana o parrocchiale.
Le condizioni:
1. Visita di una chiesa parrocchiale;
2. Recita del Padre nostro e del Credo;
3. Confessione sacramentale (negli otto giorni precedenti o seguenti);
4. Comunione eucaristica;
5. Preghiera secondo le intenzioni del Sommo Pontefice (ad esempio un Padre nostro, Ave Maria, Gloria al Padre);
6. Disposizione d’animo che escluda ogni affetto al peccato, anche veniale.
