Un sentito grazie ai giovani che sono riusciti a riunire per una lunga serata tutte le frazioni di Acquappesa preparando, con impegno e spirito di sacrificio, alcuni simpatici giochi.

Al “Palaterme” giochi che uniscono

Si è svolta il 2 Gennaio 2010 alle 15.00 al “Palaterme” delle Terme Luigiane di Acquappesa la I edizione dei Giochi Rionali, che ha visto quattro squadre, I Marines (colore blu, frazione Acquappesa Marina), Gli Artisti (colore giallo, frazione Intavolata), I Diavoletti (colore rosso, frazione Terme Luigiane e Castagnola) e I Cavalieri (colore verde, Acquappesa Capoluogo e frazione S. Iorio), sfidarsi in diverse competizioni.
La prima gara è stata lo “Scoppio del Palloncino”, che consiste nel superare legati ad un compagno un percorso ad ostacoli e far scoppiare appunto un palloncino del colore della propria squadra sedendocisi sopra, seguita dall’immancabile “Tiro Alla Fune” e dalla “Corsa con i Sacchi”, a cui hanno partecipato i tre piccoli componenti tra gli 8 e i 12 anni di ogni squadra; ci sono stati ancora “Assalto al Castello”, con lo scopo di far crollare il castello nemico, fatto di cartoni e difeso da due avversari, colpendolo con dei palloni, “Acquaquiz”, cinque domande su Acquappesa, il “Mini Golf” e la “Staffetta” finale, a cui hanno partecipato tutti i 12 concorrenti di ogni squadra.
Le squadre erano composte in modo abbastanza misto, poichè spesso appartenenti ad un quartiere gareggiavano per un altro, e a prevalere è stato il senso di appartenenza alla squadra piuttosto che alla propria frazione. Non è assolutamente mancata la competitività, sempre nel rispetto degli avversari, ma lo scopo principale dei Giochi, non a caso chiamati “Senza Quartiere”, è stato quello di unire le variegate frazioni di Acquappesa, sempre in lotta tra loro in una “guerra tra poveri” a causa di campanilismi e insensate rivalità che impediscono alla nostra già malmessa cittadina di evolversi e costruire per sè stessa un futuro migliore.
Con la speranza che manifestazioni come questa possano avere una lunga vita, ottenere sempre più successo e ravvivino la scarsa vita sociale del nostro paesino, oltre a ricordarci il piacere di stare insieme. (vedi foto)
